A meat recipe suitable for dinner, using the frying method.

Meat, you just gotta love it! And steak is the best, you can't beat it. Keep it simple, fresh and big!

The ingredients »

  • 1 x sirlion steak
  • 2 tablespoons of ground black pepper
  • 50 mili-litres of chicken or vegetable stock
  • 3 tablespoons of red wine
  • 3 tablespoons of double cream

How to make »

  1. If you want to have potatoes as well then being by cooking them. Otherwise being with the steak. Heat some oil in a non-stick frying pan, you want it nice and hot. Rub the pepper all other steak, really cover it.
  2. Pan fry the steak as per your taste. 2-3 minutes on each side should do it.
  3. To make the sauce, reduce the chicken or vegetable stock, red wine and cream in a pan for a few minutes, to thicken.
  4. Serve with potatoes and/or a salad and drizzle some of the sauce over the steak.
